Community safety

Together for a safer Semiahmoo

Volunteers and partners supporting safety initiatives across the Semiahmoo Peninsula.

About the Society

Semiahmoo Community Safety Society is a non-profit volunteer organization created in 1993 and renamed in 2017.

Our key mandate is Creating a Safer Community for both individuals and businesses in the Semiahmoo Peninsula. The society achieves this by partnering with community policing volunteers at the White Rock RCMP detachment. Many of the projects we fund are initiated at the suggestion of our community safety volunteers and constables working in the community. Please click the About here or at the top of this page for detailed information about the programs, projects, and workshops we support and fund.

In 2016, the society made the decision to diversify our focus from primarily pedestrian and driver safety, and began supporting other safety oriented organizations in the community.
